Indeed iThemes “Enforced SSL” did it. I guess SSL was already activated, now the response header shows “WordPress”.

It is assign to another plugin but refers to this thread’s issue.It worked on my site after checking the characters (use correct ‘ ) and deactivation WP Debug mode.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] CF7 hangs on submit after upgrade to php 8“still recorded in the DB” sounds like you also use CFDB plugin (Michael Simson).
I found out that short contact forms are working but long form do not and only the first fields of long forms are stored in the DB.
CFDB – abandoned six years ago – seems to be the problem. I deactivated it and the form works fine again.
Sad story…

we are still having trouble with submissions when people add text to the date they picked. Will this be fixed in a plugin update?

It is resolved: the child theme was broken, now it is fixed and all works fine (except that NinjaForm does not provide a safe data-picker: the picked data can be edited or users can add any text to it…)

Sorry for bothering you with this issue.
I discovered a special field type “Confirm” that can be applied to any of the other fields to repeat filling the field.

Debugging it with Site Health Troubleshooting plugin I found out that this problem occurs as soon as I enable the WPML translation plugin.Do you use WPML as well?
