This seems to suggest that there’s a field that contains the meta description that I can adjust somehow, however I can’t find it. It’s not in the page itself, nor does it appear in Yoast’s settings. 🙁

Found the snippet editor. Not very intuitive, but at least I can update my metas now. Thanks.
Having the same issue. Now I can’t change the meta title or description for my homepage. 🙁
