I see
Thank youOf course there are some limitations – I’d just like to automate things as much as possible
Now, at least I know where the limits are
Thanks againThank you for coming back to me and clarifying things!
The mechanism that prevents previously shown posts from being shown again, explains a lot.
The question then is: How can I display a list of “reminders”/ previous posts (or properties)? Those two lists are intended as reminders about the most recent posts (or properties) that a user may have missed by eg. deleting the previous newsletter a bit to quickly…
(In other words: If there is no way to display previously “sent” posts, then a dynamic Recent posts list just won’t work in a post notification newsletter sent each time something new is posted, correct?)- In my tests, I only tried with one new post, no new property. In the sent newsletters, both the latest post and also the latest property did show up (I wouldn’t expect the latter from your explanation). No posts or properties showed up in the respective lists.
- All posts and properties were published, no drafts or private.
- I have not tested with a new property, but expect the same behavior as with the posts (in the single “latest” module and the list) – I will have time to test that later today.
Bottom line: How can I display a list of the latest posts/ properties, even if they have been part of a previous newsletter? (Is the only way – though unpractical – to send a newsletter let’s say once a month when enough new posts/ properties have been published?)
Thank you
Ping…
I’m well aware that I have started out with a free version of Mailpoet, but:
– I still had hoped for some answer to the question I posted last week…I see other questions are answered – but that a similar question remains untouched: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/automatic-latest-content-widget-3/
If the problem is caused by a bug (I assume you would like to fix), also this would be great to know.

Thank your your feedback earlier
The problem is gone, so I’ve had nothing more to show you.
I have made no big changes on the site (including new plugins), so my guess: A conflict with a previous version of some plugin.
Keep up your good work!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields] Lione breaks are removedThank you for coming back to me.
Solved.
I started out writing you a thorough reply, but after once more connecting the relevant custom field to the front end (a Powerpack BB module), the text displays correctly, with paragraphs.
I suspected that one of the field options had screwed things up, but after toggling them on and off in different combinations, I still can’t figure out what caused the hickup.Trim whitespace at the end of lines
Remove blank lines including empty “p” tags and “br” tags
Remove extra blank linesFYI – I checked that
1 – html and wpautop are allowed
2 – Output context: The field content is displayed via a BB Powerpack module > “+” > Pods field: Post, page, term” (not a post custom field – important) > Connect > correct Pods field slug.
3 – No html wa utput on the frontend
4 – Can’t say now, but absolutely a thing to keep in mind. Thanks again for your checklist!

The oddest part is that it works in one out of two identical fields (even with almost the same contents): I duplicated one wysiwyg field that worked, but the copy just won’t work.
See screenshots – frontend/backendGreat!
Thanks a lot for your time and for clearing things out
KjetilThanks a lot – of course you are right 🙂
Started from scratch, and now it works just as intended.
Lesson learned: Start out with a template intended for your purpose
PS
Is there a place to adjust (translate) the text that appears when someone has asked to receive an email with a link to their halfway finished form?Thank you for coming back to me so quickly!
It sounds reasonable, though I do believe I started out with a blank form.
I’ve exported/ pasted the form code here: https://pastebin.com/HXf833dJ
In case it is not saved correctly: A .txt file with the same code here: https://filetransfer.io/data-package/89o6AeSY#link
Thank youSolved – just probably
– even though it doesn’t work for all posts we try to share:
I found and changed the setting in AIOSEO > Social networks > Facebook > Default Post Image Source from Default image to Featured image
(and also updated the relevant post template to show the featured image at the top.)
I also removed all versions of the troublesome RGF logo file from the media library. Weird: That image kept showing up when sharing even after that. We removed those sharings.
Apart from that: Works now. (Maybe just some FB cache?)PS Yes, I have run the posts’ URLs through Facebook’s debugger tool – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
Thank you
I wanted to see if some further plugin updates triggered the problem again (and in between the captcha stopped working on sime sites) – but it seems to work fine now.
Thanks for your help
KjetilThanks for coming back to me, Kris
1. Some forms were already set here.
I doesn’t seem totally logical, though, since the problem occurs when updating plugins, not posts or pages.
2. All forms were set to load from AJAX
…but we’ll give it a try.
I’ll be backPerfect – thank you!
I had misunderstood the logic part; now this (and several other forms) will work just as intended 🙂
