Thanks sincerely for getting back to me on this issue and providing the specific link. I followed the instructions and updated wp-config.php to the 64M of my provider, which were not enough to have success with the database . Then, I upgraded at my provider to 128M, which brings, with a different file included, the same following message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 31074813 bytes) in /var/www/web50/html/wp-includes/class-phpmailer.php on line 2171
PHPINFO shows the new memory value. Since I can do the update from within the Dashboard (built in WordPress function), I wonder, with respect, if the programming routines may be memory-use-optimizable, so that they could work with 128M? I’d fear, if I upgrade again, I’d receive the same error message?
(Or did I blog too much 🙂 … ?!)
However, my question is partially answered, if you tell me your plugin is so modern that my configuration is just too old, I would probably believe you 🙂 … just that I may understand about what to do best.
Thank you again for helping my uninformed mind with your knowledge,
Sincerely
Ka 🙂
