404 errors are not generated by the plugin, are generated when the site is scanned by the bot apple.

I understand the functionality of the plugin, but where I should upload an image @ 2x manually, simply upload the same image with the only difference that you add @ 2x.

I know it’s not right but you can leave an indication to the user that the right thing is upload a large image. so the same report image A “is not retina” image B “if retina”. but all contain @ 2x to avoid having 404s.

I do not really worry that the image is retina or not. What worries me more are the 404s since discovered that 404 pages consume a huge amount of server resources, precisely for that reason install this plugin.
