In reply to: [ShiftNav - Responsive Mobile Menu] Deprecated functiongreat, thanks @sevenspark
nothing (like what i saw previously) pops up in the hosting’s error log this time. i’ve tried v3.0.7, and the same issues still exist. i’ve also tried on another website that runs your plugin and similar thing happened. i’ve sent you a support ticket via the dashboard of the second website. i’ve also added 2 Youtube links of my screen recording.
@joedolson. alright, i will do that. but let me dig further into this. i might have seen some new errors popping up in my hosting log that is related to mod_security blocking access to the Featured Image attaching function and Media Library only when v3.0.6 of this plugin is active.
@joedolson. after troubleshooting this myself (as mentioned on the thread regarding pop-up not launching), i noticed that specifying “font-family: dashicons” for the CSS “.mc-toggle.close span:before” will make the dismiss icon appear.
@blackcapdesign you could have a try by adding the above CSS into your theme’s file.
@joedolson. yup, outside of My Calendar on posts and pages. the site i’m managing is running on the latest WordPress 4.9.6 and PHP 5.6.32.
@joedolson, it appears version 3.0.6 has ironed out this issue. i’m on it now and the pop-ups are appearing. just that the X icon on the top right of the pop-up is missing. i’m trying to go through your CSS to see if i can fix this myself for now. thanks for the quick fixes.
I have the same problem with the mini calendar widget’s popup after upgrading from version 2.5.17 to 3.0.5. i’ve tried changing the navigation options by adding “jump”, but it did not work for me. also tried disabling some of my other plugins, and that too did not fix the popups.
Downgrading to version 2.5.17 made the popups appear again. ive exercised upgrading and downgrading between these 2 versions twice. never had such a problem prior to version 3. so i’ll have to stick to version 2.5.17 for now.

In reply to: Update Failed: Page not foundSame problem here as well, but only on one of the WP 4.6 under my care which runs on PHP 5.4.45 and Fast-CGI.
I’d like to add that updating plugins in bulk via the Updates section is fine; just not one by one in the Plugins section, which calls for the ajax as shown in DigitalEssence video.

In reply to: Plugins Ajax Updates Failing after WP 4.6Hi there,
I’m also experiencing the same thing when trying to update the plugins individually after the WordPress 4.6 upgrade. however, this only happens to one of the WordPress 4.6 under my care, which runs on Fast-CGI and PHP 5.4.45.
Any server configuration might have caused this?

In reply to: [Easing Slider] Upgraded to 3.0.2 and now slides are goneHi @matthewruddy. I’ve been using “if ( function_exists( ‘easingslider’ ) ) { easingslider( ID );”.
Looks like you’ve fixed it in version 3.0.3. Thanks so much for the quick fix. i’m reverting to the original function.

In reply to: [Easing Slider] Upgraded to 3.0.2 and now slides are goneHi, i have the same issue as well. i even tried rolling back to version 3.0.1 and the slideshow wouldn’t re-appear. i’m able to add new slides to the existing slideshow, and create new a slideshow. but the new slideshow would not appear as well.
I figured the issue lies in the Template Function PHP code. the slideshow would appear if i used the shortcode and “echo do_shortcode” on the template.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Issue with using alternate domain alias as sending emailI apologize, please disregard my earlier lengthy description of the problem. there appears to be some misconfiguration elsewhere that lead to this after the plugin upgrade.

In reply to: [ReCaptcha Integration for WordPress] 1.1.10 breaks Contact Forms 7?same thing here. the reCaptcha just disappears after upgrading to version 1.1.10, leaving only the shortcode on the CF7 form. i’m only using this plugin, and did not activate the one integrated in CF7. but when i did that, the one that came with CF7 wasn’t appearing either, until i disabled this plugin.
so i had to roll back to version 1.1.09, and removed the keys in the CF7’s reCaptcha to get everything working again. please fix the latest update? i still very much prefer this plugin for reCaptcha, than relying on the one built into the CF7.

In reply to: 4.2 upgrade: unable to update pluginsHi MarionWante,
Yes disabling the plugin(s) first before updating works. i actually tried that first before i tried again to update an active plugin, with another set of new FTP credentials (as described above).
