In reply to: [Migrate Guru – Site Migration & Cloning] Does not workHi Jan. I did not use the review section for support. I gave my experience with the software and rated a 1 star. I genuinely dont appreciate having my account flagged for giving an honest review of the software with my experience.

In reply to: [Events Made Easy Frontend Submit] Additional AttributesThats a fair reply, and a better one than previous replies of you “Just not going to do it” How much would the “three” of us need to sponsor you for to get a fully functional front end?

In reply to: [Events Made Easy Frontend Submit] Additional AttributesFair enough… I disagree that its that difficult to code in since its available as a pay function on other plugins. However, I have next to nothing in personal funds to put into a project for a hobby community website Im not being paid for, so hundreds of dollars for a “premium plugin” just isnt in the budget. I apologize that my comment came off as a threat, it was stated in frustration.
I am at present using a different plugin that does give the front end functionality described (Events Manager) but their thing is “Oh, you want protection from spambots using google’s free recaptcha? Gotta buy pro” Which as previously mentioned is just not budgetable for me to dump into a free site right now. So I was hoping that EME had some plan for the future and opted to add my voice to the list of people requesting it. I certainly wouldnt be able to donate what you truly deserve for your work, but given needed functionality I would have been happy to do so.
Yep, thats pretty much what I said. Something that is a free tool from google for stopping spam bots that the EM team is charging for if you want to be able to NOT have spam bots on your events… aka “Pay us protection money”
yeah I could use a different plugin but EM does what I want better than the other ones so far.
Just my opinion, and still a good plugin for the most part.
Thanks for listening.

In reply to: [Plugin: Mibbit AJAX Chat] some questions about the pluginOk, so what am I missing.
Everything installed correctly, but when I put the <!– irc_chat –> into a page, it doesnt do anything. Im sure its some stupid setting somewhere that I am missing, but if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

In reply to: How did they do that?Aye (and to the person that referenced to a different post from me that kinda moved into the same question as this one) I understand that neither wp.com now wpMU is supported here. Neither was my question.
The question was “How did wordpress impelement a system where the user signs up, and gets blog at “username.wordpress.com”. I would like to duplicate this for a specialized wordpress style site (proper creds to wordpress of course) Essentially, I would be a wordpress hoster.

In reply to: Hot BlogsActually, I just noticed that the downloaded wordpress files, only let me run one blog. My goal is to have a site that specializes to a particular audience.
and yes, I meant wordpress.com
