I am currently running under Yahoo to manage and host my blog. They sent an email saying they were to upgrade the wordpress from .6 to 2.8. This was sent in September 2009. It is now February 2010 and the upgrade never happened. Their links only point me to the WordPress download site. The current release is 2.9.1. Yahoo in its upgrade notes say they will support 2.8.4. I have downloaded both versions but fear trying to upgrade until I hear from Yahoo. Their support is slow an incomplete. Has anyone upgraded recently? Do you need to do everything manually as directed in the wordpress guides? The link on the Yahoo blog manger that says ‘upgrade to 2.9.1 now’, doesn’t seem to do anything. Any suggestions?
