I don’t know – they may have been generated by an old advanced taging plugin I used to have – anyway I can check if they really exist? if notcan I just delete them and if so how, or can I do something smarter and redirect or create a custom 404 page?

disabling did not fix the problem
yes they are my keywords, they are for a clients site.
I think the issue may be I changed permalinks after I added like 9 posts – so a lot of those tags are connected to the old posts – this happened to me years ago, never resolved how to fix – if that clears it up please let me know what I can do, otherwise I am disabling all plugins right now to check.
