I have found a solution for my case, hope it helps you too:I hadn’t created an e-mail address for the mails generated from wordpress:
“wordpress@domain.de”
after setting up the e-mail address, the form worked.thank you all very much

I saw that you can download the lower version via this link

same error message:
“An error occurred while trying to send your message. Please try again later.”I have other websites with only a small form (max 3-4 fields) that works for sending by mail.
but it does not work with longer forms with many fields.
I ask for ideas / help
