In reply to: 7 years of comments missing in Dashboard viewI noticed another comment glitch.
One comment came in as Pending. I approved it, and it shows up in Most Recent Comments module in lefthand rail (a widget). But when I click on the comment, it doesn’t show up on the post — and neither do any other comments posted on that post:

I need help restoring these comments as well.

Thanks to all!

In reply to: Redirect at login and "sufficient permissions" noteEsmi, I tried renaming my theme. Didn’t work. So I went back to old one.
I tried resetting plugins folder name.
I used the advice here:
But I still can’t sign into my site.
Once I can access my dashboard, I’ll try upgrading from 3.7 to 3.7.1. But last time I tried the automatic upgrade, I messed up my site.
Fathi, I cleared my cache, and I still get this upon login:

In reply to: Word Press 3.6 update fatal errorHi, all.
While doing an automatic update last night (Aug. 23, 2013), my site crashed and I got this error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_convert_bytes, etc. … deprecated.php:3364, etc.
After four calls to my web host (Pair.com) and trying to follow the manual update instructions, I ended up with the generic WordPress homepage at my 4,200-post, 24,000-comment site: http://masterstrack.com
I have my original wp_content folder on my laptop, plus the original theme and an entire backup of the site.
So now I need help connecting the dots. How do I get my old content, themes and plug-ins onto the site?
Thanks for your patience with me, winner of AOL Member Homepage of the Month for November 1996.
