In reply to: WordPress HackedSounds like your hosting partners machine has been rooted. If so, then nothing you can do will stop this. Have them move you to another machine. It is a pain, but will save you lots of heart ache in the long run.

In reply to: WPGallery2Oh yeah, a G2 install is necessary also. 🙂

In reply to: WPGallery2I found it really strange also. My Gallery install is in /g2/, the way I finally got it to work was a combination of the first 3 fields:
Relative Gallery2 Path: (blank)
Embed Gallery2 Page Name: ../wp-gallery2.php
Path from web document root: /g2/

In reply to: WordPress HackedAlso, are you using phpGedView? The old version of phpGedView allows hackers to access EVERYTHING on your server. Upgrade or remove it until the 4.01 version comes out. That was what got me. They messed up my Joomla install, so I decided to go to WP, and then they started messing with WP. I finally figured out it wasnt Joomla or WP, but phpGedView. Good luck, it drove me nuts for weeks!
Thanks, I want to keep them all in the plugin folder. But that raises the other part of my question:
How can I reference files in the plugin directory, when people can move the directory anywhere, or copy the files directly into the /plugins dir?
