I fixed my issue.
This might help you especially if your email address is a gmail account like mine.
I went into plugins in my wordpress dashboard.
clicked on add new
searched for ‘Configure SMTP’
Downloaded the first option which was ‘Configure SMTP’ by Scott Reilly.
Activated it
Opened the plugin settings to edit – left everything as default (so didn’t type anything in)
Clicked onto ‘Sent test email’
And it all some how configured and linked my gmail to the contact form…

Hi all,
I’ve got the same problem. My contact form no longer works. I can’t successfully send messages even if I try to change the email address.
Not sure what to do.
If anyone has a solution would really appreciate the help.
