In reply to: Switching Domain Names But Keeping ContentHmmm, I checked everything Bernard said and it was all set to the correct domain yet whenever I go to my new domain the old site name still appears in the task bar. Is there anything else I should make sure was changed?

In reply to: Switching Domain Names But Keeping ContentOnce I moved my files from the old domain to the new the website seemed to function fine except the task bar still said the old name. Bluehost said to change the domain in phpmyadmin by selecting wp_options but once I select wp_options I have no idea what to do to change the domain. It is not clear, there are just a bunch of tables. Can any one explain how to change the domain please?

In reply to: Switching Domain Names But Keeping ContentCan someone more helpful perhaps with less attitude please help me on this issue. I was under the impression that support forums were mainly for those who were not advanced users so “blah blah blah” isn’t helpful. I am new at wordpress and would like to transfer my site to a new domain. I use bluehost and bluehost support told me to come here for guidance so can some please HELP me.
Thanks
