In reply to: Slider At Top of Page GoneI deleted the folder and added the plugin and it installed fine.
However all the slides are messed up, the information is there, but it is offset to the left and not centered the way it was.
I don’t remember having to adjust any settings it was centered from the start.
Anyone know about this plugin and what to do.
if you go to FosterThomas.com you will see what I am talking about with the slides being messed up.

In reply to: Slider At Top of Page GoneThe plugin is missing from the dashboard but somewhere in my files the slides still have to exist that were working yesterday morning, I want to reinstall the plugin but have all the info loaded from the slides that were working yesterday.

In reply to: Slider At Top of Page GoneThanks for your answer, I have had zero success getting ahold of theme forest or getting any help on their side.
I remembered the plugin was called revolution slider and I found it, on theme forests website or actually Envato who seems to own theme forests website.
I paid $20 for it, figured it was worth it to make the issue go away. I tried to upload the plugin and get the below error.
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /xxxxxxx/xxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/fosterthomas.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/
Plugin install failed.
So the destination folder is already there but the plugin is not on my dashboard.
Any ideas how to install it? I don’t want to delete that destination folder because all the files should be in there.

In reply to: Mobile Friendly?Thanks James, I posted in their forum a week ago and no reply. The whole reason I used the theme was they looked like they did a great job of support through the forum but of course I run across a problem and nothing.
Basically I want my mobile site to look exactly like my desktop site, just one a smaller scale. That way if they want to zoom in they can just zoom in on the section they want.
This will allow for better viewing of the menu, as well as the larger than normal logo.

You can upload a background image through the theme customization section but it only changes it on the home page for some reason, you have to go to FTP site and find the background image and change it to make it change for interior pages.

In reply to: Comments Closed – Comments Off areaI figured out how to get the NO comments part off yesterday in the code, I couldn’t figure out how to get the date posted, category and comments closed part to go away.
After trial and error I found the code, I deleted things hit save, if they broke I pasted them back in and deleted something else.
Not the best way to do it but it worked.

I changed the background color to a tan through the Apperance, Customized setting.
In IE it shows up as changed in chrome and firefox it is still white, even after a cookie and history delete. Any ideas?
