In reply to: Shifting WP.com to WP.org@melissaglobal, in fact the only thing you need to do is change the nameservers to point to your host. Go to your WP dashboard, click on “domain” then “nameservers and DNS” and change those to point to your new host. In your case, you can find the nameservers here : http://domainbigdata.com/globalroaming.at, they are named ns1.blacknight.com
and ns2.blacknight.com there are always two of them, sometimes more but you only need two.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: The use of a premium account with WordPress.orgThanks a lot for your swift answer.
I had no idea that the two WordPress were so different when I began using them. I guess I shouldn’t have bought that premium account after all :p
I’ll go and talk to them.
Thanks again, guess this is resolved then.

In reply to: Your connection is not secure messageHello emileswedd898,
Just wanted to know if you managed to solve your problem, because I’m getting the same here, just after redirecting the nameservers from WordPress.com to Bluehost.
Did what Grant just suggested work ? How did you do it ?
Thanks for your help in advance.

In reply to: Shifting WP.com to WP.orgHi guys !
I’m having some trouble with that as well, and pretty new to WP also.
I created my website with WordPress.com only to find out about the .org thing and that everything I wanted to use WordPress for was on the .org version. I bet that happens to lots of users…
I’ve followed every step of the tutorial to switch from .com to .org of wpbeginner you might find this useful), installed the latest version of WordPress with Mojo Marketplace on my Bluehost domain, but when I log into the admin space, I find my old WordPress.com website, and do not have access to all those .org features (such as plugins).
Also, when I installed WP on Bluehost, I was told “We noticed the domain you are installing at is not set up yet with your hosting provider”.
Anyone had the same problem and/or the solution(s) ?
