I found the area you mention, I filled in the appropriate places and it still doesn’t work for me. I removed the picture that keeps appearing in my link from my media and it still shows up.
I’ve tried doing this over and over, but no luck.
But I do thank you for trying to help.

In reply to: When adding a link to my blogJames, I actually have wordpress-seo as a plugin but I can’t locate anything relating to assigning a default image…of course, I think that may have more to do with the fact that I don’t understand most of the lingo used within this plugin.
Is it possible for you to give me further direction…for one of the WordPress challenged individuals.

I was trying to add this under image widget and when it was suggested I add it under text widget, it worked.

I added the image link I’ve shown above and when that didn’t work I tried my media file location…neither appear.
It seems so simple a task. I just don’t know what’s wrong.
I added the link with no problem, but since I can’t get any image to appear no matter what I try, I don’t know if the link works.

Quick follow-up question. I didn’t disconnect from my blog before reconnecting…is that my problem?
I’ve disconnected from WordPress and reconnected several times now and I’m still seeing the error.
Not sure what to do now.

Thanks so much for responding. The demo site is exactly what I want to do, but in reading through the instructions, I’m totally ill-prepared. I don’t have sufficient knowledge to understand the post let alone carry it out.
But at least I know I can’t accomplish what I want to do, so i just need to get used to what I’ve got.

In reply to: Can't View Static PageAs it turns out, I found a way to include it on “customize” and then discovered it was a problem with FoxFire because I could view it with Internet Explorer but not FoxFire.
