    Govindji,
Do you know how to get the very small thumbnail views of the first video frame to appear to the left of the listed videos? I can’t see how to do it. Also, are the thin purple lines inside the videobox (to the left of the placeholding camera icons) supposed to be there — an intrinsic part of the design? Can’t tell.

Never let a writer rebuild a blog. It just means more work for the rest of the world. . . .

Now, that one I would never have figured out! Thank you so much, GP! Good things are coming your way.

@ Colby: Well, not everything is resolved — but I’m closing in on completion. I must say, I’d still be wandering aimlessly in the desert if not for govpatel, who has shown great kindness to our little nonprofit and spent hours serving as my coach and hand-holder. He’s fantastic.

At this point I’m trying to reinsert all sorts of graphics that went missing during the transfer and fuddling with fonts and plugins. One problem with which I’m wrestling involves an apparent change in the most recent version of the Atahualpa theme, which (so far as I can figure out) makes it impossible to display the start of our executive director’s blog under a static intro post on the home page. Anyone know how to do that?

I’m also trying to figure out how to move video posts to the right hand widget sidebar — and so far no luck. I may have to bother Mr. Govindji again. He’s a saint among men.

@ govpatel: If the latest version of WP is 3.2, I believe the version at the old host was one version back. DO I still have a backup? That depends on whether these two files, which I downloaded as I followed the GoDaddy instructions, qualify:

    isuroon_wp_20110720_732.sql (2.3 MB)
    isuroon.wordpress.2011-07-17.xml (176 KB)

If their size indicates that I’ve botched the upload, I suspect I can get the files I need from the old host.

I don’t quite understand what you mean in writing that I “must have a new database setup.” Are you saying that the backup files I have can’t “talk” to the new WordPress installation on GoDaddy? Or that I may have missed uploading the proper files? Or . . . ?

I’m sorry to be such a neophyte. We are a startup nonprofit and we *had* a web wizard, but . . . well, now we don’t.
