In reply to: Installing an escape buttonI’ve now found the Special Text Box plug-in and that is even better although I am having formatting problems with the rest of my sidebar now.
Should add that http://awava.org.au is using twenty-ten and http://staging.crookkeddog.org.au is using woothemes Canvas. Doesn’t seem to matter what the theme – the sidebar formatting is still yick.

Actually this is what I needed. It is a plug in called WP Utility Short Codes by Pippin
It lets me do exactly what I want with a box and a button.

Would you be able to be a bit more specific? What kind of widget? A text widget? And how do you insert a link into it?I am a newbie.
