I had this problem after every single update. Sometimes, when I click on a download file and hit the save button, the issue is resolved.
More often that not, I had to delete all download files and upload them again. I did this process after every single update so I just got fed up with it and deleted the plugin.
I tested a few sites using your theme and some of them still don’t display the social media icons when using the latest version of Chrome.
Safari and other browsers are pretty solid, though.
Looks fine on a Windows 7 system, as you said. Checked it with 2 different laptops and it’s working properly.
Other sites with the same theme look fine on my system. My website seems to be the exception, unfortunately.
