Ah! I resolved my issue.
In case anyone else has this problem and my particular situation (old host, new name):
the URL had to be edited at least /twice/:
from (in my case) http://kansaigal.com/blog to “.net” then AGAIN at
http://kansaigal.com/blog/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2Fblog%2Fwp-admin%2F
to .net to access any of the blog, then I used Gangleri’s suggestion to edit options from there.
Every link I click it automatically forwards me to my old address. If I manually edit the URL, it still forwards to the old one. I tried editing things manually, but it’s no good so far.
I’m having the exact same issue. In my case, my IP address is exactly the same as before, but the site name has changed, it’s forwarding to the old .com rather than the new .net even though it’s the same IP name server and everything.
