Hello,
I need Alipay because I am targeting customers from Mainland China. I don’t need Alipay for other currencies except CNY.
In the link you shared, both CNY and HKD are listed as presentment currencies: https://prnt.sc/URSZw03nKJQ0.
I don’t understand why multicurrency should be an issue with your plugin.
We are based in Hong Kong. And default currency is Hong Kong Dollars. But we also can sell in Chinese Yuan. But still alipay option is not available in your plugin. I suppose I will use another plugin.
You can see that in the new checkout experience, I cannot choose Alipay. Even though it is activated in our Stripe dashboard. https://prnt.sc/sw412744tY9w
Hello Omar,
Sorry, I have not received any notifications after your response.
I have activated the Alipay option in the Stripe Dashboard. However, I don’t have the option to enable Alipay in the new checkout experience (screenshot attached). Although the Alipay option appears under “Get more payment methods,” clicking the button redirects me to my Stripe dashboard, where Alipay is already activated. In the legacy checkout experience, the Alipay option is available to select, but when activated, it doesn’t work during payment testing. We receive an error from Stripe indicating that we need to use the latest Alipay integration. Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14M_LvX7RLuOUnYHYekZbglV-GBYKGCgw/view?usp=sharing
I also tried using the “Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce” plugin from another organization, where I could activate the Alipay option without issues.
Therefore, I conclude that the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin does not support the Alipay option in the new checkout experience. As shown in the screenshot, I don’t have the option to enable it.
Please help me with that.
