What did you change them to?
I have the same problem (unable to drag widgets) and have tried the various browser and docs modes but still can’t get it working properly.
Well, of course – use borders and border-radius (with the exception of IE, and IE9 is on it’s way anyway).
Off to figure how to put an image between posts as a divider now.
I think I’ve part-solved this by
* adding post_top.jpg as a background to #content .entry-title
* adding postbg.jpg as a background to .entry-meta and .entry-content,
.entry-summary and .hentry
* adding post_btm.jpg as a back ground to .entry-utility
