Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [FeedWordPress] Blog page not updating when changes are made to postI’m having the same issue. I’m using the plugin to pull in posts in a custom post type and when I update the feeds to pull the updates from the posts on my syndicated site the posts do not update the content. I just get a message that says “26 alternate versions of existing posts were stored for reference”. Why is it not updating the content and why is it storing alternate versions?
It is working perfectly in every browser except ie8. ie8 shows no image only the alt tag text.
I disabled the picturefill script to see if that helped but that stopped it from working in firefox.
I’m not 100% clear on how your plugin is replacing the default worpdress img tags that are in the page/post with the srcset version but is there some type of “if” logic you could ad that if lower than ie9 then to just leave the default img tag in the page/post?
Not sure if that’s possible but seems like it could be?
Version 3.2.6 of wp retina and version 4.1.1 of WordPress
Seeing as this post is several months old I am assuming there was a fix added to the plugin? I am still not able to view my images in ie8 here is an example page http://arcainteractive.com/arca-interactive-design-portfolio/checkpass-business-solutions/. I am using Version 3.2.6 on a multisite setup. Is there a setting I am missing?
