When I installed the USP plugin recaptcha did not work, and gave that error. The error was occurring when someone clicked the “I am not a robot” checkbox. I looked into the error, and it appears that if you don’t install recapthca via composer, recaptcha may not always work right (depending on your specific server setup) and might give this error. The suggestion was to re-install recaptcha manually using composer, which I did, and it fixed my problem.
Not sure what installation method your plugin uses for recaptcha, but I can verify it did not work for me without installing recaptcha myself following recaptcha’s install instruction on their github repo.
Ah, requires installing this package:
composer require google/recaptcha “^1.2”
A fine example of the bad support I was talking about. Denying issues and making wild speculations is a hallmark of a poor support organization.
I have used the plugin, what I said comes from experience and much regret in having done so as it has delayed my project significantly, and I’m hoping this doesn’t happen to others, especially with more respectable developers at WCVendors and WC Marketplace, YITH Multivendor, and others, who actually provide real support and answers that benefit customers rather than sellers.
And yes, it does mean that the plugin is not good, both because it is designed to not be functional until the $500+ price point, but that is well-hidden so that people will invest time in it. And also because support itself is really apparently made up of sales people who continuously try to upsell you and deny things, rather than helping you find the best solution to issues – they will always offer the more expensive solution even when it is significantly less efficient.

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode] Paypal button doesn’t go awayWoocommerce. It has a setting for Paypal Checkout, which adds two paypal-related buttons in addition to the ‘Add to Cart’ button on product pages. You can find it by going to Payment Methods in WooCommerce. There are two Paypal settings. The one I’m talking about is called Paypal Checkout, not just Paypal
