Thanks for the help. I was swamped yesterday and couldn’t do anything but delete all the cookies, browser history, etc., which didn’t work. Then just now I was going to try deactivating the pugins, but lo and behold, it is working now. I am pretty sure that it wasn’t anything I did, it just got better. Thanks to all for the suggestions.

Damian, the only thing I tried to preview were posts, and it didn’t work for any I tried. And what happened is that instead of going to the page of the post, it just went to the first page of the website.

I am going to hope it jsut stays fixed!@

    Susan,
I wish I could tell you what I did, but nothing I did worked….it just came back. ANd I guess I don’t actually know if it is still working, as I have not yet posted today. I hope mine STILL works, and that yours comes back!

Couldn’t get to this until yesterday afternoon, and when I went to my site and did a new post – it worked. I went back to the post that it didn’t work on, and could not add a picture, but it did work on the next post. At this point I am going to hope it was some kind of aberration and hope it keeps working. Thanks for your help!

I select the icon to upload, then I use the Select button to choose the photo, then Upload it via that button. Then I add Title and Alternate Text. Then I select Insert Into Post button. It takes me back to the Edit Post page, where I have always seen the picture in the post. Now I just see a big empty box, with the Alternate Text in blue print in the upper left corner of it. I went to Preview Post to see if the picture came through, and it did not. On this page it also shows the Alternate Text in the upper left corner, and has an icon that looks like a broken tile in the middle. When I hover over this icon it shows the Title. When I click on it, it goes to a page that says’ Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.’

I think I may have added the wrong image initially, but I deleted it and put in the correct image. Then I updated it. Then I did the whole thing again. On the first page of the blog, where it shows the beginning of each entry plus part of the picture, it shows the wrong picture. But if I click on the picture to go to the entire post, that shows the correct picture.

I post things with a numbered title (Daily Bliss #85, ten Daily Bliss #86, etc) so I am hesitant to delete the entire post and re-do it, for fear they will then be out of order. Is there a way to delete it entirely and get it back in the same place? Otherwise I am thinking that I may just have to live with it showing the wrong picture in one place, but the correct one when you go to the post.

I appreciate any help I can get – thanks!
