  • Hi kosinix,

I just updated the Cyclone Slider 2 to version 2.12.3 and it seems to be working as expected. I can rearrange and delete slides in slide shows that have Youtube videos. I deleted Youtube videos and added Youtube videos. Everything seems to work great and I have gotten no errors or failures.

I have been using your plugin for our dog agility club for three years and really like it to show case our members and their dogs. I volunteer my time to manage the website and try to keep it operating for our 40 member non profit club. I really appreciate you taking the time to develop and maintain this free plugin. If you have a dog email me a picture so that we can showcase you and dog, our honorary members, for you help in maintaining our site.

Thank you so much for your quick response and help!

    Judy

I am hesitant to install the upgrade 2.12.3 based on various comments about fatal errors and sites crashing. kbeggan have you installed upgrade 2.12.3? Did you have any problems? My host is BLuehost. I checked my cpanel and I have PHP 5.4.43

    cPanel 11.52.6
    Apache 2.2.31
    PHP 5.4.43
    MySQL 5.5.42
    Perl 5.10.1
    WordPress version 4.5.3

Is it safe to install the Cyclone Slider 2 update 2.12.3? I have very little experience and would not know how to handle a fatal error that would cause the site to crash.

    Thanks for any advice.

I am having the same problem. I created the following post at the same time you were posting.

I am unable to add new slides to a previous created slide shows, when I click the update I get the following message: The kruisinkanines.com page isn’t working kruisinkanines.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500″. By trial and error I have discovered the only slide shows affected are the ones that have YouTube videos in the slide show. I cannot add any new slides or edit of any of the previous slides. I have tried to delete slides but nothing happens. I am able to create new slide shows with no problems until I add a Youtube video and the above message appears and the video is not added. The slide show displays you just can’t edit them. This problem has just surfaced probably since the last update. I had no problem adding slides in the beginning of June. Any help to resolve this problem would be appreciate. I update our homepage slider regularly.
