Hm, you have some interesting ideas. I had considered the first when originally writing this plugin and didn’t think it would scale very well. For people with over a couple hundred products, checking them off would be cumbersome. This is why I implemented rules with overrides.
Your second idea however works with the structure of the plugin and would even allow the user to import rules into their products just like they would with a manual override.
There is going to be a new release coming out soon and I’ll see what it takes to add this in on the following release.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WooCommerce Advanced Product Quantities] 3.9 CompatabilityHm, I’m not able to replicate this result. Is there a url you could send me so I could verify. Also, could you include your exact rule or override configuration?
Let me know, thanks.
Khaleesi,
Thanks for using the plugin. Your right that the plugin does not support roles definitions on a per product basis. While it is possible to add that functionality to the plugin, I’m not sure the time required would be worth the benefit provided. Have you tried making more specific rules and using those?
If you need this for a specific project, we do offer additional support here: http://wpbackoffice.com/contact/
Thanks,
Ok I’ve looked into the bug and I’m having trouble replicating it. Do either of you have a url you can send me?
On my dev site (at the time of writing this) the following product has the rules deactivated using the ‘Deactivate Quantity Rules on this Product?’ option.

And the remainder of the site has a minimum of 25 applied through site wide rules, here is an example product.

I can add them both to the cart at their minimums and then in the cart, I’m able to update to any applicable quantity.
Try using the default WP theme and see if your issues persist, while unlikely in this case it might be a theme conflict.
Thanks, and let me know what you guys think.
Ok, there should be a new version coming out within the next week or so, so I’ll try to address this in that update.
Thanks.
Most of the issues in this plugin relate to custom templates overwriting the hooks the plugin uses. Try using with the default 2014 theme.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Advanced Product Quantities] Multiple Product TrackingHm… yeah, WooCommerce Advanced Product Quantities wouldn’t be able to handle that. If we added functionality to capture a ‘Group’ of products as a single quantity it would work. You would however have to manage each variation of cupcake as a different product within a single Grouped product.
I can put this on the list of new features to add but it’s unlikely we’d be able to get to it very quickly. If you’d like to expedite the process, we do offered additional support, just contact us here: http://wpbackoffice.com/contact/

In reply to: [WooCommerce Advanced Product Quantities] Diff Limits for Out of StockOk, I can add that to the list of enhancements on github and will be able to get to it within the next few months.
If you need it done fast, please contact us and we can discuss further.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Advanced Product Quantities] Quantities on all-products pageHm I was able to add 12 to the cart no problem, did you already find a solution for this?
If it doesn’t work it is most likely your theme that is overwriting the hook were using so I would try using the default WordPress 2014 theme and try with that.
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Advanced Product Quantities] Diff Limits for Out of StockWhat exactly do you mean? Are you talking about setting rules for backordered products?
Thanks.
The latest version of the plugin (2.1.2) does support for role based rules. You can set these rules by creating a new rule under the ‘Quantity Rules’ tab. Simply create two rules for your two different minimum quantities and assign them to the appropriate user roles.
Enjoy!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Direct Variation Link] Add variations directly to cardNo sorry we don’t support that. WC used to use the ?added-to-cart=<ID> but it seems to have been phased out with version 2.1.
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Advanced Product Quantities] decimal quantities/incrementsHm ok, I’ll have to play around with it to see how WooCommerce reacts. I’ve added it to the list of enhancements on github so it should be included in a future release.
Thanks.

Thanks.
