In reply to: [WP Symposium Pro] How do users of forums at my register in the first place?That and there’s a “log in” link in the widget even though I’m already logged in. When I click it, it tries to log me out but there’s an error.
It’s been a very long, frustrating couple of days here trying to get a simple forum up and running that doesn’t automatically grant full admin access rights to every Tom, Dick, and Harry that shows up to register. I’m just amazed that the default settings on all these plugins I’ve tried work this way.

I.e., there is a “dashboard” link in the widget that doesn’t appear to be removable. How can I be sure that other people that sign up aren’t also seeing this? WordPress gives me some error when I try to log out for whatever reason, so I can’t view it as anything other than an admin.

In reply to: [WP Symposium Pro] How do users of forums at my register in the first place?I know this isn’t the place to ask support questions, but I see no way of asking a support question at the WPSymposium site without purchasing the product first. If the only way to get somebody to sign up at my site is by also giving them free reign over my dashboard, then I won’t want the product. What am I missing?
