Yes. I’ve already tried to reset Site Kit using the button in Tools. However, it is still going to the incorrect URL. I’ve tried clearing the cache as well.

Yes. I think the directory is setup a bit differently in the old site.

I’ve tried to reset it in the new site and it doesn’t seem to work. I don’t have access to the old site anymore so I can’t reset over there.
