Magically, overnight, my site returned to normal. Thanks, guppydas, for advice. Unfortunately, perhaps because of my host, I cannot even see the wp-content folders. But I shall see about learning more right away!
Mine did not turn off. I cannot access admin area in any fashion.
I cannot get to either my main site or to my admin. I cannot even log in to a control panel to delete the SOPA Strike files. It’s after 8:00 pm, when the site should have returned to normal. Advice?
