In reply to: 403 Forbidden on whole website including wp-adminLast time it took Dreamhost a while, but this time they were fairly fast with a response (overnight basically). Standard delete everything and re-install, which I did. Pain, but mostly up and running. Thanks all

In reply to: 403 Forbidden on whole website including wp-adminSeacoast, I didn’t mean any lack of respect. I am just bummed, as well as un-abilitied. Thanks though.
And Arie as I said, I know squat all about .htcaccess, but thought that DENY FROM ALL looked odd. But after Googling around it seemed like others were being advised to configure their .htcaccess exactly as mine is.
No disrespect folks, I am admittedly very clueless on this stuff.

In reply to: 403 Forbidden on whole website including wp-adminOh man! I can’t believe this!
Anything else I can do besides contact the host? Especially to keep any malware from spreading? They (Dreamhost) are not exactly responsive.
I read somewhere to FTP the entire site locally. Delete the site. Scan the files with PC malware software? Sounds kind of crazy to me.

In reply to: Links in Footer to Same Blog Won't WorkThere did not seem to be any way to use permalinks and still get coda slider to work that I could figure out with my limited knowledge of javascript and the fact that post ID numbers are not sequential.
So I decided to concentrate on the link. I found a work around using JS onclick event: ‘onclick=”location=’#5’; window.location.reload()”‘ That I have included in the anchor tag. I expect that this has some sort of issues and is not the ideal way, but it’s the only way that this noob could figure out.
If you have a more elegant solution than this hack, please inform!

In reply to: Links in Footer to Same Blog Won't WorkWell, I have figured out how to solve this issue using permalinks. However, after linking to a page using permalinks, the coda slider ceases to work (well it works, but it forwards to a blank page, as it does not forward/backward to the next page with the permalink URL).
Help!
