Ok, so far it seems like the code /%category%/ is the problem…. I changed it again to shop base with category and it works again.

What I want to do is to show the product category followed by the product name without “shop” showing up in the link name. Is there a code sequence to accomplish this?

When I change both the post permalink and the product permalink initially, the cart seems to work again. When I changed just the product permalink to a custom base: /%category%/ it stopped working again.

I have been working on this all day, including loading products onto another domain which has been inactive. The cart and checkout was working on the alternative site until I added the 3rd product to the website. I am using variations on my products and on the alternative website there was no plugins running except Woocommerce and Paypal for Woocommerce.

I don’t understand this issue, why after I added the 3rd item it went to the same Error 404.

If anyone has experienced this, or knows how to fix it please reply! Thanks!
