When I first put up the images they are there and when I reload they disappear. I thought it was maybe because I had the old version of thesis. But when I loaded Headway it did the same thing. I am not much of an expert on wordpress, I am not sure what is happening. I deactivated all the plugins to see if that would help and it did not.
