Also, I removed all plugins except for core control. Still have the problem.
Thank you for responding kmessinger. It is appreciated. I took the site down and am starting over with that one (not a blog site). However, I set up a new (a different URL) site for my blog and I am getting the same error message when searching plugins: “An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.” I installed the core control plugin and disable the cURL in the External HTTP Access tab. It didn’t work. I still get the sames message. I have the PHP Streams available and the PHP fsockopen() available.
I am using the default theme 2011 1.3.
