In reply to: [Posts in Sidebar] Posting unique results based upon keyword…Yup… that solved it!
It took quite a bit of work for me to create separate widgets for each category, but the Widget Logic plugin allowed me to display unique lists of related posts for each…
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

In reply to: [ContestHopper for WordPress] Click and Copy URL is not workingI just added this plugin, and at first I thought the Click & Share URL feature didn’t work either. The plugin will not allow you to select or highlight the URL text, but when you click on it, it does in fact copy the URL to your clipboard.
For example, it doesn’t appear that anything happens when you click on the URL, but when you paste, it will in fact paste the URL.
Webikon, although this function appears to be working (for me), it’s definitely not very user friendly. Most people are used to highlighting text and then manually copying it themselves. It’s very confusing when you try to select the URL and nothing happens. When you click on it, there’s no message of any sort to inform you that the URL has been copied, so it’s easy to assume nothing happened.
Hopefully this can be remedied with a simple modification (either on our end, or permanently on yours). We haven’t posted our first contest yet, but I can see our users having the same problem as flgirl…

In reply to: [GD Star Rating] Multi Star Rating for Woocommerce products?nabil_kadimi,
For novices like me, this isn’t enough information to get multi star ratings incorporated into Woocommerce. Have you made this into a plugin yet? Could you provide more details including codes and which files to change?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
I wish I could have gotten some support on this…
Guess I’ll have to switch to another ratings plugin…
Any help here? Here is a sample page so you can see what I’m talking about:
www(dot)cigbuyer(dot)com/liquids/halo-flavors/
Notice the 2nd and 4th product do not have any star ratings. I’ve tried voting on these two items from several different computers using different browsers. They’re not working and I have no idea why. All the other ratings are working and each has a unique id.
This is occurring on several different pages, but the other pages’s have even more ratings that aren’t working…
Any ideas??? I really need these ratings to work correctly… thanks!
Thanks for the info… I’ll look into this in more detail when I have a chance 😉

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to link to a product tab???For the record, I found a solution to this problem…
To link the the “Reviews” tab from any external page, simply add /#comment-1 to the end of your URL. This will open up the “Reviews” tab and display the reviews right from the beginning…

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to link to a product tab???For the record, I did notice when using the “Recent Comments” widget in WordPress, that when you click on a particular comment (ie: /#comment-5) it opens the Reviews tab and scrolls to the specific comment. If I could create a link that always started at the beginning of the comments, it would be perfect! I tried linking to url/#comment (without a specific comment number) but that didn’t work either…

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to link to a product tab???I finally got a chance to tinker with this script again…
I noticed in both IE and Mozilla that when you click on the link to /#tab-reviews (from an external page) that it immediately scrolls to the bottom of the page, but the #tab-reviews tab is still not open or active. It simple scrolls to the bottom of the page. I’m assuming since the review info is at the end of the page content, it scrolls to the bottom, but it’s still hidden by CSS within the tab…
Any suggestions? Are you noticing this as well?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to link to a product tab???OK… to be honest I might be OK with just linking from external pages. I don’t necessarily need to link from the same page. The “Reviews” tab will open the reviews on-page. I’ll just remove the link from the stars and people will have to be smart enough to click the “Reviews” tab… lol
Thanks again for your help! This will definitely come in handy on external links 😉

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to link to a product tab???Right now, the stars are linking to #tab-reviews (on the page above). The goal is, when someone clicks on the stars it will open the “Reviews” tab so they can read the reviews.
As mentioned, eventually I’ll link from external pages to #tab-reviews and I’d like it to open the “Review” tab upon arriving at the page…

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to link to a product tab???I tried to add the javascript in the header and several template files, but still not working. This is a sample page with the #tab-reviews tab:
* LINK REMOVED *
If you scroll down the page you’ll see “User Rating” and the star rating next to it. I’m trying to link these stars to #tab-reviews so it opens the tab. Eventually, I’ll also include links on other pages and it should land on this page with the tab open…
