did sending a test email work? you can do this from the sending account settings page. if you are still getting the error would you be able to take a screen pic of the error.

The listids setting on the shortcode needs to be the actual ID of the list. You will see something like ( id:1115 – public ) after the list name on the subscribers tab.
Looking at the widget in the footer the id should most likely be 387. So your shortcode would look like [sendpress-signup listids=’387′ label_display=’false’].
As for the labels are your trying to complete remove them?

In reply to: [SendPress Newsletters] [Plugin: SendPress] 500 Internal Server ErrorI found an issue with one of our sql queries that would cause a mysql error. This would cause a 500 error on my test site. I am not sure if this is your problem but i fixed it in 0.8.8.1.
If you get a chance to test it with your test site to see if you get the error again i would appreciate it.

Search by email and name are coming but i am not sure exactly when and i display count as a bug to be added. In the short term i have added a remove all from lists at the bottom of the detail page.
As for 5000 contacts it should work fine provided they are each on their own line. We are working on a new importer to make this an easier process. Contacts will not be duplicated in the system so a reimport will be fine.

Did you happen to get anything in the error logs? or did the site just die without logging anything.

I will get the spelling fixed in the next release. Thanks for pointing those out.
I think you are right about the CAN-SPAM. I will see what we can do about making that a little more universal.
As for the email links and wording around view in browser and unsubscribe. We have plans to add options to the template settings page to allow for moving that link and editing the text that it uses. Hopefully it will be in the .9 release if not it will be in for sure before 1.0
