I am so very sorry for my delay (mother in hospital).
I remember another recent report of someone having an issue with the profile bio editor.I’ll check this out by the weekend; and get an update pushed out.

Yes, the columns (when inserted into the editor) will contain a class that will let you target the column via CSS.
I don’t have my dev environment in front of me at the moment; so I can’t provide the direct code. However, if you know how to “right-click” and inspect element… you’ll quickly find the class names.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about above; let me know, and I’ll get more specific CSS rules when I get back to my office.

Thank you for the kind words.Yeah, that wording is a little ambiguous. That button is directly from WordPress; and is not added by WP Edit. I don’t have any control over the behavior of that button.
What the message is saying, is… WordPress now allows you to paste text from Word (or other sources) directly into the editor. It will run some internal functions to attempt to format the pasted text into WordPress style html.
So, if you’re trying to paste from word.. no need to turn on the “Paste as Text” mode. Simply leave it turned off.. and paste your Word content directly into the “Visual” view of the editor.
Let me know how that works for you. From what I’ve heard… results vary.

Honestly, I haven’t done too much testing in terms of editor buttons in a responsive layout. I’d love to see a screenshot of what you are describing. Can you show me an image of the editor in your “smartphone view mode”?
You can’t upload images here; but you can upload them to another server and paste the link here. Alternatively, we can move this discussion over to my forum; where you can upload images directly.

I apologize for your inconveniences.
Are you certain this applies to WP Edit? There isn’t anything to control column widths; you would need to do that via some custom css.
There isn’t a “customize” button in WP Edit, either. I’m not sure what you mean by the font issue. Is this happening inside the editor; when you click the “Font Select” dropdown button?

I think the editor has undergone a few changes with regards to embedding video. I’ll have to take a look at recent mailing list posts and see if anything has changed.
What happens if you paste the embed code directly into the editor; bypassing the “embed” button? I think this should work.

At this time, WP Edit is not setup to handle multisite support. Some things may work, some may not. The pro version of WP Edit does support multisite configurations.
I will try to find time to add some basic multisite usage into the free version of WP Edit soon.

I see where @designdrumm had encountered the frustration. He downloaded the plugin for the PHP widget; which I pulled in the following release. It was purely a timing coincidence.
The same feature, incidentally, was also removed from the pro version; which completely validates your statements above.
I am working with @designdrumm via email (already a couple days late; I have to do that tomorrow); and hoping the rating might get adjusted once a resolution is met 🙂
