That did turn out to be the problem! I deactivated all of my applications, and one by one I turned them back on to see if one was causing this. And turns out it was a shortcodes plugin. It’s gone now and working great!

I am having the same exact problem with one of my websites which is running on Zerif. I want to pay for the full version, but I refuse to pay for something that will not work.
