what’s the kb of the image? can you optimise it to speed up load time or can you not change the background to the white?

http://pepperedsprout.com and looking at my source code it all seems to have gone back to front, where the content appears above the sidebar (I’d removed the header.php)- any ideas what i may need to do – thanks
