You’re welcome JDWired, wasn’t sure if I should’ve posted the results of my anguish that day because a lot of the information relative to this problem on this forum are a bit outdated and thought may be this problem was local to my install and not a global issue, but after reading your response, glad I did.

    Thanks, MacManX
I wish to make available any (safe) tool that would enhance the user’s experience and interaction with my website. I have decided to move forward with a “Social Login Plugin” allowing users to access http://www.sqdcme.com and I will have friends and family attempt to login and create accounts within before going live with the site, I will monitor and measure the degree of difficulty from each and provide some feedback respectively.

I visited your Blog, liked the tribute to Robin Williams, I am a fan as well, started with Mork&Mindy and have followed him throughout his career.

    Regards

    Hello kjrias,

Not sure if this will help but check with your webhost and ask if there was a site backup plan with your site plan and if so they might be able to restore the site to a previous date before the dubious update.

My experience with WordPress thus far (it isn’t much) is that if something is deleted from within WordPress, it goes to a trash receptacle where you still have a chance to get it back however, I have uninstalled plugins and any information contained within went out with the uninstall.

Maybe someone with some more experience would have another idea.

    Good Luck.
