In reply to: [Plugin: Viper’s Video Quicktags] Viper isn’t connecting to player…That page uses a different header than the rest of the site, I removed that javascript. All plugins are deactivated except for Viper. Still no videos.
There should be a video on this page, but no video.

the-content()code in the theme.(I’ve been reading up on some of the other posts that you have commented on.) 🙂

Not only doesn’t the flv file not play, but a video player doesn’t even show up on the page.

In reply to: Why blog page reverts back to homepage.php template?Never mind, I figured it out. I had a file named home.php on my server. It was designed the same as homepage.php. home.php overides index.php see here:

In reply to: Why blog page reverts back to homepage.php template?Yes, this is the part that doesn’t make sense. From what I understand, the blog should default to the index page, but it doesn’t. I also tried to make a page template for the blog page and select it as a page template in admin, but that doesn’t work either.
