On BLACK FRIDAY (with promotions running), after updating my home page (which uses Divi Shop Modules), the slug was replaced with that of a somewhat recent post… and the home page got mangled. Rather than go through the heartache of restoring a backup and dealing with an outdated orders database, I rebuilt most of the home page, updated… and the fucker did it again.
All software was up-to-date.
On a separate, but closely related note: Is there any possibility that WooCommerce will develop a simple solution for syncing databases between live and staging sites? I imagine MANY of your customers (including this one) have no practical choice but to update their live sites, fingers crossed.
