Thank you for the response. I added the file to my child theme, made the edit that you suggested, but unfortunately it’s still there.
With only ONE post — you get just the date of the post (no author).
Add a second post, and then it adds the “posted by”.I’ll keep looking and hacking, see if i can find where this is coming from.
Thanks for your time,

In reply to: A temp HTML home pageI apologize-
Had to walk away for bit…
Right now, I guess I’m really using WP as a CMS.
I already am using a static page with the settings you described .
http://brctennis.comSo maybe this is why things are askew… maybe I just can’t do what I’m trying ?
thanks again,

In reply to: A temp HTML home pageOk-
I am apparently using ‘non-default Permalinks’
Custom structure: /%postname%/I will replace the original index.php, change the temp file to index.html and return with all the results again.
thanks,

I tried that too (forgot to mention) – with the same results.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: TInyMCE is not working – only able to edit in HTMLOk –
Done.
I have both WordPress installs running correctly with no issues.Guess a note to all using a c-Panel install of WordPress into a sub-domain.. DON’T !
The manual install of WordPress worked fine.
Thanks,

In reply to: TInyMCE is not working – only able to edit in HTMLHow good is this!
I’m responding to my own posting ! <smile>
Please don’t strain your brains on this one.
Of course, I submitted this issue with the hosting company.
I just spoke with a second tech support person….. they now tell me to delete and re-install Word Press, but to do it manually – not via C-Panel.I will try this and update everyone.
thanks,
