Hi there,
Thanks for staying in touch with us.
In this case, based on your settings, what should ideally happen in the two scenarios is that:
“No, display only on first day of event”
- When selected, all the events, (event 1, event 2, and event 3) will be rendered only on the first day of each of the events. If you have for example an event beginning on June 1 2026, and ending June 20 2026, then such an event will only be rendered on June 1. It will not be rendered in the rest of the days, which explains why your “Event 1” is not rendered in your calendar (calendar 2).
“No, display on all days of event up to current day (list view only)“
- When this option is selected, all the events (event 1, event 2, and event 3) will be rendered on each of the days that the event is present. However, if you happen to set the events to a forthcoming month, such events will bot be rendered on the first calendar page. You will need to disable hiding the navigation arrows within such a calendar, so as to be able to navigate to the next events. This explains why Event 2, Event 3 and Event 4 are missing in your calendar (calendar 1).
To answer your question on having the calendar display the 3 most recent events, with the multi-day events combined into a single entry/ calendar page, while you can compact list your events from the calendar, unfortunately this display is currently not possible by default.
You would need to enable the navigation arrows so that you are able to view future events.I hope this answers your question here.
Kind Regards

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Two or More CalendarsHi there,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
About your question here on setting up a grouped calendar, you will first need to create the individual calendars you would like to include. Once those calendars have been created, you can then add them to a Grouped Calendar.
The following guides should help you get started:
- https://docs.simplecalendar.io/grouped-calendar/
I hope this information helps. Should you require further assistance, please feel free to reach out once again.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
In relation to your query here, the events should actually be displayed. Do you mind sharing with us screenshots of your calendar settings just to ensure that we are on the same page here. You can share them in a Google drive link.
In addition, please let us know which version of the plugin you are using.
I look forward to your reply.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Ordering of EventsHi Shivian,
Thanks for staying in touch with us.
In this case, I’m yet to replicate this issue on my end. Here is a screenshot of the list view. Could you perhaps counter-check that you have the latest version of the plugin (3.6.2), that your site is running on the latest WordPress version and at least PHP version 8.2.
In addition, please try disabling other possible conflicting plugins that you may have in place and check whether the issue is resolved. If the above does not help, could you instead submit a support ticket here: https://simplecalendar.io/contact/ in regards to this matter for further review.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Ordering of EventsHi there,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
About the query here, I have carried out tests from my end and I do not seem to replicate the issue. Could you perhaps counter-check that both events use the same Timezone and that the Timezone settings do match with what you have in Google Calendar. Here is a doc on this: https://docs.simplecalendar.io/timezone-settings/ .
Let us know if this helps.

About your question here, yes this option is present within the free version and you can have it enabled from the Calendar Settings > Appearance tab within your calendar and enable the “Print Calendar” option. Here is a doc about this: https://docs.simplecalendar.io/the-print-calendar-feature/ .
I hope this helps.Kind Regards
