Thanks, but I just found out that YAK is not compatible with my WP. I have Smooth Pro Real Estate Plugin and wpV3.5 . When I activate YAK it makes a 404 error for my properties search, and when I deactivate it, the error does NOT go away, so I have to get a code writer to go in and change a few of the files back. This has been done several times. Now I have to find another plugin to process credit cards. Any Ideas? I want to use Authorize.net

ok thanks! Couple of questions. When you say that it will be alright to put it in the ‘main’ forum, which forum is that?… and is it ok to put it in the main forum because it was ‘tagged’? When you say it was ‘tagged for the add-on for that plugin’, what does that mean? tagged? I want to learn the rules of the forum so that I can get help and not tick anybody off. Thanks so much for your time! 🙂

Thank you, this is very helpful. I will break my complicated first post into specific, short topics. Tackle one thing at the time. I know that everyone here are volunteers, and that’s why I appreciate the help so much. I imagine once I get started with my template installation, my learning curve will be much better; I just need to get started. And thanks for the links. All I have done is create a page called “Welcome” and a page that is called “Blog”, and made the Welcome page my home page as per instructions here http://www.expand2web.com/blog/how-to-make-wordpress-look-like-a-website/ ,, and that is literally all I have done. I was hesitant to do anything else until I heard from you guys (and girls).. I didn’t want to do anything that would be hard to undo. Thanks!!! my site is http://www.virginiarealtorsmls.com . Actually I am more interested in making the “submit” form(s) and the eCommerce part of the website work because, even though I would like this site eventually have my “regular” houses that are for sale listed, I am more interested in using the site to get information on houses that other people (home owners) have for sale. So the way that I envision the home page is a large logo at or near the top with a “click here to list your house” , and then below the home page logo’s and messages, have my regular listings start. Oh, and one more thing,, it would be a BONUS if I could have these submissions automatically uploaded to my local Realtors MLS (official) website once I collect money from the person uploading their house to MY website. I have noticed that some of the templates, from what I understand, will get any houses that are listed on “MY” website, and automatically upload them to any official MLS listing sites I am a member of VIA my username and password to that particular website. Either that or I will have to do it manually by logging on to those websites and submitting them from the information uploaded to MY website.
