  • Same problem here, using the default editor. I really like this plugin but it is HELL creating pages with this broken editor which is caused by qTranslate.

I am the creator hehe. I found the bug …
Well actually it was the FIX i found to fix the editor so it could save paragraphs and spaces. I couldnt save with spaces before, every time i saved it would remove any space in my written article.

Removing this fix now fixed the added tags, but now im stuck with articles getting removed spaces when saving hmmmmm hehe.

Edit: Fixed that also. It is actually the qTranslate plugin that is doing this. Deactivating it fixes everything.

You seem to be right, it doesnt have the bugs in Twenty Eleven theme.
So maybe my CSS code is interferring with the editor ? I cant think of what …. i dont have anything in my CSS that deals with the editor ……

Or maybe some CSS is missing that should be there for editor to work. I have only added CSS that are required for my design to work.

Never mind fixed that also, had to add a function: add_filter(‘show_admin_bar’,’__return_false’); ?> to remove it. Cant believe default wordpress forces a layout behaviour like this. Its bad.

I found the problem, i had to use <?php wp_head(); ?> in my header file. The reason i removed it is cause it makes a white horizontal spacer on top of my layout, any way to modify this ?

Obviously this function calls some needed for plugins to work, but i dont want it to bring layout tweaks with it.

But its weird, if i just modify lets say the width of the default theme as well the site will go completely blank.
I cant modify anything. Starting to wonder if it has something to do with my webserver having Safe-Mode “ON”. That has always caused problems for IPB and other software.

Will look into it, must be that.

I am a designer and i have to say this 25$ logo is actually good. Nothing special but logos are meant to be easy for the eye, and this is absolutely functional. If you have never heard of Lucasarts before i will guarantee you would hate theyre logo.

An logo dont have to be technical or fancy in any way.
A logo could be as easy as this JOHNNY|AV tm

You have to change the foldername for WordPress to life on the webserver as well, if not the script will look for life which isnt there. Probably you have gotten information about FTP login when you bought your domain. Done in 2 seconds 🙂

Really beatiful website there ! Easy to see you are an designer. Like that you have stayed away from the typical layout which everyone is using. 10/10

wow that tutorial should be official. Exactly what i was looking for. Here you get to know the logic behind everything which you didnt get from the offical guide. Awesome.

I agree with Ricantails. I am struggling myself even though i am pretty confident with PHP and CSS. I dont want to break down an existing theme since i am a designer, so my layout is extremely different from your typical portal layout. Gonna try googling for more in-depth knowledge about this system.
