I eventually noticed the theme editor. I looked for the code that implements the “read more” boxes and deleted it. I understand that an update to the theme could bring back the boxes, but for now, this is the solution. Eventually I may try the “child theme” approach.

Oops, I was messing around with index.php and made a grave mistake in its content. I think I have restored it so it should work now. I am sorry about that. 🙁

Could I add some PHP code like

if ( address_box not empty )
{ execute existing code to create "Read More Box" }
else
{ do nothing }

Otherwise, getting rid of all of them would be fine.

If I could find the CSS file or instructions that implement the “Read More” boxes, I could probably figure it out. But, assuming that there was a change to a CSS file that would make the “Read More” boxes go away, then all of them would go away… right? Yes… I WANT to know how to do this…. but also…. What if I wanted ONE or TWO of the Header Banners to have “Read More” boxes, and the others to not have them. Is this possible? It would certainly be nice if the “Banner Tab Two Content Title Link” box was left blank, the result is the “Read More” box on Header Banner Two would be gone.
