I am experience the same problem. Have you come to any solution in this question yet guys?
For those who have interest, this is how I solved the problem:
My theme had a sidebar that was loaded first and kind of broke my layout. With help from Sakura Plugins I got a blank theme. I also had missed the check box “activate in content”. So with right theme and “in content” activated my site works perfect!

Seems like my theme somehow is overriding the plugin.
