Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!It seems like the issue you’re experiencing with Elementor’s backend design, particularly with sections and columns appearing broken and inner columns floating to the right, isn’t directly addressed as a known widespread issue in the latest updates, including version 3.18.0. The Elementor Pro changelog and developer updates for version 3.18 focus on various enhancements and fixes, such as improvements in editor performance, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and PHP 8.2 compatibility, but do not explicitly mention changes that would result in the problems you described.
However, it’s not uncommon for updates to our plugins to cause conflicts or unexpected behavior, especially if there are third-party addons or customizations involved.
Given this, the issue you’re facing might be related to conflicts with other plugins, custom code, or even theme compatibility issues that arose due to the update. It’s worth checking the following:
- Ensure all plugins and the theme you’re using are up to date and compatible with the latest version of Elementor.
- Test by deactivating other plugins temporarily to see if the issue resolves, which can help pinpoint a conflict.
Then, new Elementor websites use containers for page layout. For more information, see What is a Flexbox Container?
However, there are a large number of existing websites built using sections for layout and web creators who prefer to continue working with sections. These users can deactivate containers.
Please remember to back up your site before making any substantial changes.

Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you are having this experience. I cannot provide the specified solution without viewing the website in detail and entering the WordPress dashboard. On your side, you can try the following:
Plugin Conflicts: Other plugins can sometimes conflict with Elementor. Deactivate other plugins one by one to see if any are causing the issue.
Update Everything: Ensure WordPress, your theme, and all plugins are up to date.
Saving the permalinks: Try re-saving the permalinks and see if that makes any difference.
Enable the switch front-end editor loader method. You can find it in the settings of Elementor in your WordPress Dashboard (see the screenshot below). Enable this option and check if it solved the issue.

We hope these steps help you resolve the memory exhaustion issue. If you have any further questions or encounter any difficulties, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for additional assistance.

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - more than just a page builder] Adding Next PageHello,
Elementor does not natively support the tag
<!nextpage->in the same way that the classic WordPress editor does. Here are some suggestions on how you can achieve a multipage post in Elementor:1. Manual Pagination Using Buttons or Anchors
You can manually create a multi-page effect by dividing your content into separate sections within Elementor and then using buttons or anchor links for navigation between them. Here’s how you could do it:
- Divide your content: Create separate sections for each “page” of your content within the same Elementor page.
- Add navigation: At the end of each section, add buttons or links that say “Next Page” or “Previous Page,” linking to the next or previous section. You can use Elementor’s Anchor widget to link directly to different sections of the page, simulating a multi-page navigation.
2. Elementor Posts Widget
For blog posts, you can use the Elementor Posts widget, which allows you to display posts in a grid, carousel, or other formats. While this doesn’t split a single post into multiple pages, it can be used to create a paginated list of posts, which might be useful depending on your specific needs.3. Customization with Shortcodes or Plugins
If you’re comfortable with a bit of coding or willing to use additional plugins, you can achieve more traditional pagination within Elementor:
- Shortcodes: Some plugins or custom code snippets provide shortcodes that can be inserted into Elementor’s Text Editor widget to create pagination.
- Elementor Add-ons: There are several third-party Elementor add-ons that might offer more granular control over pagination and multi-page layouts. Plugins like “Elementor Custom Breakpoints” might offer solutions but always check compatibility and functionality according to your needs.
Important Tips:
- Backup First: Always back up your site before making significant changes, especially when experimenting with new plugins or code.
- Test in Staging: If possible, test these changes in a staging environment first to avoid any impact on your live site.
- Compatibility Check: Ensure that any plugins or add-ons you decide to use are compatible with your version of WordPress and Elementor.

Elementor has been built to be compatible with almost any WordPress theme as long as it has been well-coded following WordPress coding standards.
So, as long as the theme is well constructed according to WordPress guidelines, it should be compatible.

In order to use the Google Maps Widget, you must first create an API key. You also need a project with a billing account and the Maps Embed API enabled.
About the multiple location support, I’m afraid we don’t have this feature at the moment.
I’d also suggest you check out our Elementor Community forum. We have created it to connect Elementor users together and share knowledge.
